Program Information

Molloy nursing students are involved in a vibrant educational experience that integrates both theory and clinical practice in a framework of humanistic nursing, which values the inherent dignity of all people. The program promotes critical thinking, clinical judgement, and ethical decision-making, and prepares students for evidence-based nursing practice and lifelong learning. Graduates have the skills to communicate, evaluate, and deliver effective, high quality, compassionate health care, and a strong foundation for graduate education for advanced nursing roles.

  • Overview of Program

Our faculty are accessible and committed to your success, using innovative strategies to equip you with the tools necessary for development as professional nurses. A small student/faculty ratio assures your individual needs will be met. Your academic advisor and our extensive support services will promote your academic progress.

  • Clinical Experience

As a Molloy nurse, you'll be prepared to assume responsibility and accountability for humanistic, professional nursing practice in a wide array of healthcare environments, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and other settings that promote wellness and address illness. You will have rich clinical experiences, including critical care, maternity/family nursing, pediatrics, psychiatric-mental health, and community health, with opportunities to apply nursing theory and skills in the real world of patient care. In addition, The Barbara H. Hagan Nursing Center has a state-of-the-art skills and simulation learning laboratory, which provides a supportive environment for students to learn and practice nursing skills, and to develop clinical judgement with the guidance of expert nursing faculty and experienced nursing lab instructors.
