Our Education Program provides exactly what effective teachers need - a solid foundation in the liberal arts and sciences, aligned with national, state and institutional teaching and learning standards. °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï is currently pursuing accreditation of its educator preparation programs by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP).

Through our Undergraduate Programs students earn either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree leading to New York State Initial Teaching Certification.
Degrees are awarded in a variety of areas including:
- Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)/Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) with content specialties in Biology, Communications, English, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Mathematics, Spanish, Psychology or Sociology
- Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)/Special Education with content specialties in Biology, English, History, Mathematics or Spanish
- Adolescence Education (Grades 7-12) with content specialties in Biology, Earth Science, English, Mathematics, Social Studies or Spanish
- Adolescence (Grades 7-12)/Special Education with content specialties in Biology, English, Mathematics, Social Studies or Spanish
- Music Education (PreK-12)
- Visual Arts Education (PreK-12)
