Through our Undergraduate Programs students earn either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree leading to New York State Initial Teaching Certification. 

Degrees are awarded in a variety of areas including:

• Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)/Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) with content specialties in Biology, Communications, English, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Mathematics, Spanish, Psychology or Sociology
• Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)/Special Education with content specialties in Biology, English, History, Mathematics or Spanish
• Adolescence Education (Grades 7-12) with content specialties in Biology, Earth Science, English, Mathematics, Social Studies or Spanish
• Adolescence (Grades 7-12)/Special Education with content specialties in Biology, English, Mathematics, Social Studies or Spanish
• Music Education (PreK-12)
• Visual Arts Education (PreK-12)
